Pori Jazz 2012

47^th Pori Jazz festival has ended. During 9 days there were 87 concerts, 52 of which free. The atmosphere of the festival was good and the concerts and concepts worked out well.

Pori Jazz sold 48 000 tickets. Altogether 140 000 people visited the concerts. About 100 bands and over 600 musicians conquered the 13 venues of the festival. The new venue Cotton Salsa Factory was a success and a required add-on to the festival. Pori Jazz Kids — festival in the beginning of the jazzweek was a success with the new record of 30 000 visitors. Check official Pori Jazz website for more information.
