Fun2Mass is in every sense a live band — from the live sound to the flexible approach to the band's lineup, a willingness to experiment, and an impressive ability to perform on stage. Secular gloss and glamorous gangster image organically come with the innate modesty and natural musical talent of the project members.
The band was founded in 2004 when Alexey Pushkaryov, Alfred Avakov, and Nikolay Serebryakov worked together on a concert program with the live sound of the vocal and instrumental ensemble Slivki.
Over the years, the band has successfully cooperated with artists such as Bogdan Titomir, Otpetye Moshenniki, Odnazhdy, Timati, Soso Pavliashvili, Leonid Agutin, Angelika Varum, Valery Syutkin, Varvara, Batyr Shukenov (A-studio band), A. Revva, Misha Krupin, Ivan Dorn, and other talented people.
Fun2Mass makes high-quality instrumental music in neo-soul, acid jazz, and funk styles. At their concerts the musicians perform original musical works and immortal hits from style masters such as Marvin Gaye, Al Green, Roy Ayers, Commodores, Nikka Costa, George Benson, Linda Lyndell, and Herbie Hancock. The band’s triumphant joint concert with Brand New Heavies and their unforgettable performance on the same stage with Incognito indicate that the professionalism of the musicians is at an international level.
