Scenario Music was formed in 1999 with the intent of bringing quality Italian made music to the international community. The name Scenario is a latin word which meaning is the same in several languages and we thinked to join it to the word that we love more — music.
Describing any form of music is an exercise in frustration, words can only approximate the feeling that a piece of music inspires. In our case we've settled on blunted beats, our artists produce modern interpretations of jazz, deep house, downtempo, bossa-beat, nu-lounge, whatever you want to call it, this is the sound than spans generations and all walks of life. In the end it's all just jazz... or house, depending on the way that you look at it.
The first label compilation Bossa'n'Go has been chosen by over 10 000 people (repeated and exceeded by the second chapter of the series) and it was appreciated by the most important Italian music magazines such as "Acid Jazz", "Rockstar", "Rumore" and "Blow Up". Scenario Music acts are Brazilian Wax, Sinclair, Cocktail Mood, Grand Central, Safe Noire, Estrela Guia, Hammond Express (Francesco Gazzara' side-project), Mono Deluxe and Ganesh.
