Dubai International Jazz Festival

Chillout Productions reveals the dates for the 7th edition of the Skywards Dubai International Jazz Festival 2009. The festival is set to kick off on Wednesday February 18th, 2009 and tie up on the 27th of the same month.

The 10 days festival is to feature great names in the world of music ranging between blues, Jazz, rock and pop with an approximate total of 30 acts.

“Our friends and fans will be amazed with the line-up! The headliners this year will exceed all expectations… the participating artists will have their first appearances in the region during the Skywards Dubai International Jazz Festival 2009” declared Anthony Younes, Managing Director of Chillout Productions, founders and organizers of the festival.

This year performances are to take place all at the Media City Outdoor Amphitheater with new set-up areas and creative surroundings to accommodate a larger number of fans and friends.

New concepts are to astonish the fans and several surprises to be revealed during the dates. As every year, the festival is to carry lots and lots of “WOW” factors and happenings. The popular Skywards and Cadillac stages will remain; however with extra features, settings and activities.

Main line-up acts include Incognito, Spyro Gyra, James Blunt, John Legend, Lizz Wright and other great musicians.
